how to be a more productive blogger

D. Keith Robinson has two posts every overworked blogger must read: Be A More Productive Blogger & Be A More Productive Blogger 2. A few quick takeaways:

• Set aside time for writing (or podcasting, etc.) and stick to it.
• Create (and stick to) a publishing schedule.
• Take advantage of creative highs.
• Read.
• Don’t fear failure.
• Don’t get too hung up on grammar (or pronunciation if you’re a podcaster).
• Try something new.
• Break longer posts up into several smaller posts.

My favorite?

• Think of your blog as a knowledge management repository.

I’ve found that I do use my blogs to keep track of links, ideas, conversations, etc. It’s good that way.
